From the name alone, you can already tell that this condition means the degeneration or deterioration of our intervertebral discs that, as mentioned earlier, cushion our vertebrae. Back pains can also attack you when your facet joints start to wear down as well. These joints connect each vertebra to the other. These two conditions feature parts that break down with age so it is clear that older people are more vulnerable to these conditions than the younger generations. When in these conditions, pain will attack you only when your back is stressed. Back pains can also attack you because of injuries. Your spine sprains and fractures can give life to either short lived or chronic back pain.

Symptoms of Back Pain Attacks

There are numerous causes of back pain and some are even self-inflicted through a lifetime of bad habits. Other causes may include accidents and sports injuries that need specific treatments for athletes. Though the causes are various, the symptoms are oftentimes the same. So how can you know for sure if you are being attacked by back pain? The symptoms are:

  • Continual soreness as well as stiffness anywhere along your backbone, from the base of the neck to the hips.
